Kaylynn Milligan & Ryan Welsh (June 27th, 2025)

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Kaylynn and Ryan’s engagement session at the beautiful Buffalo Creek Park in Long Grove, Illinois. From the moment we met up, I knew it was going to be a fantastic shoot their energy together is effortless and fun, and the location was absolutely perfect.

We started our session at the iconic bridge, where the soft light filtered through the trees, creating a warm, romantic glow. Kaylynn and Ryan were naturals in front of the camera, laughing and holding each other like no one else was around. You could genuinely feel the connection between them in every shot.

Next, we moved to the gazebo, which offered the perfect mix of structure and softness. The lighting there was just right a golden hour touch that made everything feel dreamy and cinematic. They shared some sweet moments beneath the wooden beams, surrounded by greenery and that peaceful park atmosphere that Buffalo Creek is known for.

Kaylynn and Ryan brought such authenticity and love to the session, and it made my job so easy. I’m so excited for their future together and beyond honored to be a part of their story.
